TEAM NICHOLS WALKING TO FIGHT HUNTINGTON'S

The 6th annual HD walk was held at beautiful Tillis Park in St. Louis last Saturday morning and Team Nichols was there to participate and lend support. Mike, Vicki, Lori, Sean, and Kaleigh put on their walking shoes, hoping to help in this valiant effort.

It was a great day all the way around -- great turnout, great weather, and great company. More than 1,000 walkers came out to take part in striking a blow against Huntington's disease. HD is a neurological disorder that attacks the nerve cells of the brain. This genetic disease devastates the lives of its victims as well as their family members. In the U.S. alone, about 30,000 people suffer its effects.

Last year the walk raised $85,000. and we hope '09 has been equally as successful. This latest endeavor takes "one more step" toward eliminating a fatally destructive disease.

Get involved! We would love to see you there next year.
